Fuel surcharge percentages and thresholds are subject to change without prior notice. If the fuel surcharge rises above 10%, or there are changes to the thresholds, the above table will be updated.

Additional charges for Same Day services:

Waiting time is charged at 40 cents per minute after the first 10 minutes, inclusive, Up to 10 minutes are free.
Weight is charged at $.10 per pound over 50lbs. The first 50lbs are free.
Additional room charges in same building are $2.00 each.
Jobs requiring a car in the downtown Washington, DC bike zones are surcharged $6.25 per delivery.
Jobs requiring a van are surcharged $10.00 per job with weight up to 149lbs. Jobs over 150lbs are charged for the excess weight only in addition to the standard charge.
Between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. (night jobs) are surcharged $20.00 per delivery.
Weekend jobs are surcharged $10.00 per delivery.
All jobs on federal holidays are surcharged $10.00.
Attempted pick ups will be charged at least our base rate of $10.00 but not exceed the full normal charge for that job. An attempted delivery is charged at the full normal charge for the delivery plus 50% to return back to the customer. If the customer wants us to hold the package at our office and delivery it the next day, it will then be charged again at the full normal charge.
Cancellations made 5 minutes after the job is called in may be subject to attempt charges.

Additional charges for all service types:

When the authorities for areas involved in any delivery trip declare a snow emergency, deliveries are surcharged at 100% of each delivery during the period of the emergency.
All payments due Net 30 days. Unpaid balances will be subject to finance charges of 1-1/2% per month. Customer agrees to pay reasonable attorney's fees if collection is instituted.
